Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions apply to all purchases made through the Towel Tales website.
By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, you should not use this website.
1. Products
We make every effort to ensure that product descriptions, images and specifications are accurate. However, colours and appearance may vary slightly due to screen settings and lighting.
All products are subject to availability.
We reserve the right to withdraw or amend products at any time without notice.
2. Orders
When you place an order, you will receive an order confirmation email. This does not constitute acceptance of your order.
A contract between you and Towel Tales is formed when we dispatch your order.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order where:

There is a pricing or listing error

We suspect fraudulent activity
If an order is cancelled after payment has been taken, a full refund will be issued.
3. Prices & Payment
All prices are displayed in GBP (£).
We are not currently VAT registered.
Payment must be made in full at the time of purchase using the payment methods available at checkout.
Payments are processed securely via Wix’s approved payment providers. We do not store payment card details.
4. Shipping & Delivery
Orders are processed within 48 hours (excluding weekends and bank holidays).
Unless otherwise stated on the product page or at the time of purchase, processing times may vary during periods of high demand, stock limitations, or unforeseen supplier delays.
If there is a significant delay in processing your order, we will contact you using the details provided at checkout.
Most UK orders are delivered within 3–7 working days from dispatch. Delivery may take up to 14 working days in exceptional circumstances.
Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed.
5. Right to Cancel
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods.
You must notify us within this period if you wish to cancel.
You then have a further 14 days to return the goods.

6. Returns & Exchanges

Due to hygiene reasons, we reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet these conditions.
Customers are responsible for return postage unless the item is faulty or incorrect.
Exchanges are subject to availability. If the replacement item is of higher value, the price difference must be paid. We reserve the right to charge postage for sending replacement items unless the original product was faulty.
7. Faulty or Incorrect Items
If your item arrives faulty, damaged or incorrect, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible after delivery and provide photographic evidence where available.
This does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Where a fault is confirmed, we will offer a repair, replacement or refund in accordance with UK consumer law and will cover reasonable return costs.
8. Product Safety
Products may arrive in protective plastic packaging. Packaging materials may pose a choking hazard and must be kept away from babies and young children.
Children should always be supervised during use of any towel or textile product.
Our products are not toys and should not be used for play purposes.
9. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot legally be excluded under UK law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from the use of our products or website.
Our total liability in respect of any claim shall not exceed the purchase price of the product to which the claim relates.
10. Intellectual Property
All website content, including text, branding, layout and design, is the property of Towel Tales unless otherwise stated.
Product images may be supplied by manufacturers or distributors and are used for illustrative purposes. Unauthorised reproduction of website content without permission is prohibited.
11. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
